About Calli

Hi my name is Calli! I am born and raised in Los Angeles where I have taught at both preschools and grade schools as a specialist in outdoor/garden education. I love working with children and am comfortable providing diverse needs at once, a skill I have earned from my experience in the multiage classroom and with special needs children. It is my nature to foster an environment where each child feels safe and confident expressing themselves. I've cared for children as young as 6 months to 9 years, and love creating a relaxed environment whether I am preparing a meal for the little ones, dancing, putting a child down for a nap, helping them with studies, transporting them from one place to another, or playing games! I have 5 years experience with curricular development, and love coming up with sensory and educational activities to learn and explore both arts and sciences at home, outdoors, or even just through conversation.
