Hi! My name is Callie. I am a young and experienced individual with diverse personal experiences of care. I have experience supporting individuals with disabilities, mental/physical health conditions, neurodevelopmental conditions, and/or multiple complex life stressors. I deeply value the wisdoms of the people I care for and view care as a dance - a mutual partnership wherein the individual is in the driver's seat and I am a supportive passenger. I am heavily resourced within the NYC area and am competent advocating within systems like healthcare and housing. I have been commended on my ability to switch registers, manage multiple crises at once, and facilitating communication through alternate means. I often bring in the creative arts, nature, and community, geared towards the individual's unique interests and experiences. I aim to create safety and empowerment: I honor the wisdoms of the person in front of me, and my priority is their safety and comfort - however they define it.
