Caring & compassionate caregivers are so important for seniors. Encouraging cognitive interactions and experiences are crucial in aging populations. As a life long learner, I genuinely enjoy listening, learning, and speaking with seniors. We have so much to learn from their life histories and experiences. I own a business in Illinois, which I am able to direct remotely at this time. I moved to the NOVA area to assist a dear family friend in the transition process from a home of 50+ years into independent living. An unhappy transition at first, but with deep care & commitment, the bumps have 'smoothed out' and I am now available to offer services to others.

Callie is exceptional as a companion. She can maintain a lively conversation to keep someone's mind thinking about different topics. Callie primarily provided overnight care for a loved one in our home, with some days or weekends as needed. Callie was responsive to input on how we wanted things done, and she was willing to pitch in wherever and however we needed. While Callie lacked certifications (CNA, etc.), training and experience for the personal care and medical/health needs our loved one required, we worked together to carve out what her tasks would include. Callie has a very "Can-Do" attitude; she is trustworthy and honest.
