About Callan

I have been working in childcare for many years, starting out volunteering in my church's nursery as soon as I was old enough to do so. Since then, I've been babysitting, nannying, teaching dance, and have even worked as an Au Pair to two girls in Italy for a summer. I am comfortable with infants, both alone and together with other young children. My most recent nanny job was during college when I cared for a toddler and his infant sister, which I loved to do! As their nanny, I took them on outings to parks, libraries, and other fun and age-appropriate trips, planned and prepared meals (including breast-milk feedings for the baby), played with and read to the children, and kept the children's laundry, rooms, and play areas clean and organized. When caring for children, I believe TV should be rarely, if ever watched. Instead, I love spending time outside and allowing for new and fun experiences for the children I care for.
