About Calla

I am currently a senior undergraduate art therapy major. Meaning, I am trained in fine arts as well as expressive arts. This includes sensory activities and experimental play. I am more than willing to implement my knowledge to each job. Previous job experiences include painting instructor, art group facilitator, and activities director. I like working with kids because their pure imagination and creativity inspires me. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family and friends. I also enjoy being outside hiking or relaxing in my hammock. On special occasions I love paroozing antique/thrift stores, or going to see a musical production. I love decorating and making art whenever I can. One thing you should know about me is that I grew up with three younger siblings, so I'm a 'caregiver' by nature. My skills include immense patience, empathy, and the ability to help others improve emotional regulation. I have a lot of experience creating and executing fun activities!
