About Calista

I have over several years of experiences working with children. I have taken courses in child development, early childhood education, family health and wellness, child psychology and infant/toddler studies. I have extensive knowledge on the Montessori methods and prefer to use these techniques. I have experience with infants to preteens. I also have experience with children with special needs and multiples. I have been a nanny, day care teacher and babysitter. With the children I take care of I love to be active, play outdoors, sing and dance, arts and crafts and lots of reading. I always try to incorporate learning into all things we do together. I have knowledge on the child development milestones and do activities to help your child meet their goals. I am able to teach baby sign language and basic level Spanish. I am a big animal lover and teach kids to love and care for all creatures. I am open to helping with animal care and around the house as well.
