About Calista

I am 19 years old from St. Paul, Minnesota. I moved to Omaha last fall to pursue a degree in Gerontology and Special Education. I am the oldest of three siblings with a 6-year age gap between my brother and a 10-year age gap between my sister, which has given me a lot of experience caring for younger children. I'm also the oldest cousin in my family and babysat throughout high school for a family with three boys. I have worked in several caregiving and support roles, all centered around helping others. My experience includes working as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) in a nursing home, as a Direct Support Professional (DSP), and most recently as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). After graduating, I plan to continue my education and become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors, spending time with friends, trying new restaurants, thrifting, and one of my newest hobbies-flying kites.
