About Calia

I am a college STEM student with a genuine love for working with children and several years of experience providing care for date nights, work schedules, and parents who simply need time for themselves. I approach childcare with patience, mindfulness, and attentiveness, making sure each child feels safe, supported, and understood while in my care. During the school year, I prioritize helping children stay on track by ensuring homework and chores are completed in a calm, encouraging environment. In the summer, I enjoy creating a balance of educational and non-educational activities, including games, creative projects, and learning-based play to keep children engaged, curious, and happy. I am CPR and BLS certified and have extensive medical training, which allows me to provide a safe and prepared environment for children at all times. I take pride in being reliable, patient, building confidence. I enjoy working with children of all ages, with my preferred age range being 3-12 years old.
