About Caitlin

I have been working with children and young people in a professional setting for over 10 years. I believe that children need to feel safe, accepted and valued as they are navigating this ever changing world. I enjoy reading with children, planning and facilitating STEM and art projects, teaching children life skills (cooking, picking up after themselves, etc.), and getting kids outside and active. I am a Cedar Rapids native with daycare infant room experience, elementary classroom experience in Iowa and administrative experience at an international school in Asia. I have up to date American Red Cross CPR and First Aid training, and Child Protection and Safe Guarding training.
