Hi, my name is Caitlin! I have privately nannied for five years on the West Coast and am transitioning my work to New York in September. I've taken multiple classes and courses in childcare and child development between high school and continued education since working in childcare professionally. I am First Aid and CPR certified, a previous birth and postpartum doula and have conversational Spanish skills! I am well versed in Baby Led Weaning, potty training, baby/toddler milestones and basic ASL. It's my goal to support the children I nanny in connecting with their thoughts and feelings effectively! I am passionate about fostering a child's natural skills and creative abilities, while also creating routine and structure. It's important to me to provide guidance to families by working collaboratively to create confident and independent children. Caitlin has been our full time nanny for nearly a year. She has cared for my 1 and 3 year old during that time. She is thoughtful of my needs as well as my children’s. She is creative and engaging. She is plain fun to be around (for me and my children). I have had multiple Nannies, but none compare to Caitlin. Leaving your children with someone is never easy but it is with Caitlin. I know she loves and cares for them like her own. She is the best decision I ever made for my kids.
