About Caitlin

Hello! I'm Caitlin, a 20-year-old Virginia Beach local. With over six years of childcare experience, I thrive while working with multiple children at once. I'm pursuing my bachelor's degree in sports management at the University of Alabama, where I also engage with local elementary school children twice a week. During these sessions, I lead activities focused on reading, writing, and spelling, helping to foster their literary skills. I would describe my personality as compassionate, nurturing, and highly motivated. As a military child, I have firsthand experience with deployment challenges and working alongside children whose parents also serve. I founded the Military Children's Club in high school at Cape Henry Collegiate. We supported military children within our community by providing a connection for those with parents in the military. We worked directly with these children to create a supportive environment that addressed their unique experiences.
