About Caitlin

Hello! My name is Caitlin, and I'm a ninth year elementary school teacher (I currently teach fourth grade, but have taught all grade levels, K-5, to include special education). In addition to nannying after school for a local family, I maintain a private tutoring schedule as time allows. At the moment (given our new, unforeseen circumstances), I am teaching virtually from home. This affords me a great deal of flexibility--I am hoping to use some of my free time to work with students/families on implementing home instruction. I am happy to do so virtually or in person, provided your family has taken proper precautions during this time. A little educational background... I earned my M. Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction, with a focus in literacy from Penn State. That said, I am experienced and comfortable with content in all subject areas, in addition to test prep/study skills, use of educational technology, etc. Please reach out if you are interested!
