About Caitlin

Hello! My name is Caitlin & I am a current certified educator that is looking to transition to private childcare. I graduated in 2020 from Oxford Brookes University with a degree in Education Studies. During my time in England, I held multiple internships during my studies that allowed me to work with refugee communities, non-profits, and local schools. In addition, I have spent time in New York, Brazil, and Spain working in bilingual elementary schools. My approach to education is centred on active engagement and empowerment. I always try to implement the child's likes and interests in order to make learning more organic and engaging. I am also a huge advocate of hands on and creative activities (what elementary teacher isn't?!). Education is a passion of mine and I love having the ability to empower and advocate for our future generations.
