I currently work for a nonprofit in Fort Collins called Respite Care which provides care to individuals with disabilities from ages 6 weeks to 21 years old. One amazing thing about Respite Care is they take a very wide range of disabilities, most of which would not be accepted into other special needs programs. With this wide range of disabilities I have worked with many including autism, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, visual and auditory impairments, ADHD, and more from all areas: learning, physical, intellectual, and speech and language. Through this job I have also become certified in First Aid/CPR and Medication Administration.
