About Cadence

Working with children and watching them blossom has always been a passion of mine. I have over seven years of experience caring for children of all ages, from infants to pre-teens. When it comes to babysitting I aim to always bring a patient, friendly, and responsible approach. I am comfortable caring for more than one child at a time and can also assist with cooking, light housekeeping, and swimming supervision as I am CPR certified. My previous babysitting roles solidified my love for caring for children. Some of my most recent and relevant experience includes being a part-time nanny for an 8-month-old baby and providing after school care for grades 1st through 3rd at an elementary school over the course of two years. Additionally, I am comfortable enforcing household roles if requested, and always follow the parents' preferred communication method. I'd also be happy to provide references from previous families I've worked with, as well as families I currently babysit for on Island.
