I have worked in special education since 2017, beginning my career as a Paraeducator in a life skills program. After earning my degree in Applied Psychology and earning my certification in Special Education, I became a teacher in a life skills classroom. I've gained extensive experience supporting students with a wide range of needs, including children and teens with autism. I especially enjoy working with young adults in community-based settings-whether that's going to the library, taking the bus downtown, or helping with everyday skills. I also offer support for families who need a few hours of reliable care, whether that's running errands together or simply providing a safe and structured environment for your child. In April 2024, I adopted a child with special needs, which has deepened both my personal and professional commitment to this work. After several years in the classroom, I'm excited to focus on building meaningful, one-on-one connections with the kids and families
