About Brooklyn

Making a positive impact on children's lives is what I strive for. I have provided reliable childcare for as long as I can remember and have experience caring for children aged 1-12+ as I have worked as a preschool teaching assistant and as a volleyball coach for middle school boys. I hold a master's degree in mental health counseling, and am starting my PhD in Counseling and Counselor education at Texas Christian University this fall. I played six years of college volleyball in North Carolina and Hawai'i. My approach is patient, calm, friendly, and professional. I am very comfortable enforcing household rules. I communicate with parents through verbal updates and regular text or phone calls. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, physical games, board games, and puzzles with children. I have a car and am comfortable with pets. I am CPR certified! I am eager to bring my experience and loving energy to your family!
