About Brooke

Hello! I'm Brooke :) I'd describe my personality as intentional, compassionate, and genuine. I'm a 23-year-old college graduate who has been in boone for the past 5 years. I love working with kids because of how fulfilling it is, not only to witness but support a child's growth into themselves- their confidence to manage emotions, communicate feelings, and ability to trust and rely on others for help. I'm looking to transition out of the traditional Pre K classroom into a job where I can connect more one on one with children. Not necessarily for a one child household, but for a situation that allows me to connect in a way a typical school's structure doesn't fulfill. I love reading, crafting, birdwatching, being outside, playing games, and creating jewelry. I'm a huge cat person! I have a calm demeanor, i'm consistent, and go out of my way to communicate with children intentionally. I like to approach situations in a way that invites them to reflect on a human to human level.
