About Brooke

I would describe myself as kind, curious, dependable, and loyal. I love working with children because they see the world with wonder and curiosity, and I enjoy helping them learn, grow, and build confidence. I began caring for children at age 10 through babysitting for friends and family. Professionally, I worked for one year as an Instructional Assistant in an autism classroom, supporting lower-functioning students in grades 1-5. I then worked as a nanny for two girls, ages 2 1/2 years and 9 months when I started, and remained with that family for a year. Currently, I am a nanny for a 2-year-old whom I began caring for at 11 months old, and I have been with the family for over a year. I am seeking a position with guaranteed hours and a family that values communication and teamwork. I enjoy creating fun, engaging activities, encouraging socialization, and providing a safe, nurturing environment. My strengths include effective communication, compassion, patience, and problem-solving.
