About Brooke

Thank your for viewing my profile, I would like to start off and say "working" with children is not a job for me, it is one of my passions in life. I have been employed through a YMCA for over six years in many different departments ranging from teaching infant/parent swim lessons, working in the preschool and teen center, office managing a residential summer camp, driving the YMCA bus and taking photographs and writing blog. My experience with the YMCA ended up being much more than a occupation, it was a sense of community. It was where I learned how to grow up, money and time manage; learn responsibility. I also have babysat and nannied for many years in NYC. I worked for a summer as a nanny for a 2-year-old boy and another family with a 2-year-old and newborn. I am extremely interactive and do not believe in sitting in front of the television all day. I love reading to children, singing, arts and crafts, going to the park and playing soccer!
