Hello! My name is Brooke and I am a certified nursing assistant for the past 4 years. Right now I am going to school to become a nurse. When I'm not at work or school I enjoy hiking, kayaking, golfing, and spending time with my boyfriend and 2 dogs. When I first became a CNA I worked in nursing homes. After a couple of years I started working for a hospice company where I bathe patients. There I met patients needing private care and realized I enjoyed taking care of private patients in their homes. I thrive when I am able to work one on one and devote all my care with a patient. I have provided care for patients with paralysis, dementia, wounds, diabetes, cerebral palsy, ms, etc. I have experience and am comfortable with basic wound care, hoyer life, sit to stand, slide board, basic trachea care.
