Hi! I have been a stay home Mom for the last 15 years. I have spent my days caring for my boys and enjoyed every minute of it! Now that they are older, I am looking for part-time work. I do not have any paid experience taking care of the elderly but I have a lot of personal experience. My 85-year-old father-in-law lives with my family and I. And I had the great honor of helping care for my grandparents over the years. My grandpa had dementia and my grandma had a lot of care needs. They were able to stay home until they passed at 94 and 89, so I understand the difficult position that families are in when they are trying to care for their elderly loved ones and keep them home as long as possible. I'm so thankful for the time that I got to spend with them and I feel like that time has given me a lot of valuable experience.
