About Brooke

Hi there! My name is Brooke, and I moved to Santa Barbara a bit over a year ago after graduating from CU Boulder where I studied Biochemistry and Spanish. I've worked as a camp counselor, a childcare facilitator, and I've babysat for numerous families. Currently, I am a head coach for youth climbing programs. I have experience with children 6 months to 15+ years, and working with every age range continues to instill in me the joy and curiosity through which these kids see the world. I love to take a laid-back approach, and I'd love for the family I work with the meet me there. I'm looking for reciprocal kindness, respect, and flexibility. At the end of the day, we all want what's best for the kiddos, and I'd love to build a relationship built on this foundation while also meeting each other with mutual understanding. In my spare time, I'm usually doing something active! I love yoga, climbing, lifting, and running! I also love to read, write poetry, and lounge at the beach.
