About Brooke

I'm passionate about unlocking every student's unique potential through personalized support. For the past three years, I have worked to build confidence and a love for learning, not just memorization. Working in special education has given me a passion for inclusion and meeting learners where they are. I actively listen to students and observe how they engage with new material. I use varied teaching strategies to encourage open communication about what works best. I keep students motivated by connecting challenging topics to real-world examples, celebrating small successes, and breaking down complex problems into manageable steps. Communication is key, and I provide regular updates to parents to reinforce learning at home. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment and seeing their confidence grow is the most rewarding aspect of tutoring. I am currently attending graduate school and hold certifications in CPR training and First Aid.
