About Brooke

Hi, my name is Brooke! I grew up in Kansas and currently live in Santa Barbara. My first job was lifeguarding and teaching swim lessons to little ones. I enjoyed working with the kids at the pool so much that my aunt recruited me to help as a teacher's aide at the Montessori preschool she directs. I currently work in marketing, but I've always missed spending time with children. Now that I have some extra availability on weekends and evenings, I'd love to help provide childcare for families who need it. I offer babysitting, housesitting, and pet sitting services. I have experience caring for infants, including preemies, as well as toddlers and young children under 8. I also have experience watching a variety of dog breeds, including large dogs, and cats. Kids are endlessly creative and full of curiosity, and I truly enjoy supporting them as they learn and grow. When babysitting, I love to keep children active and engaged with games, crafts, and other hands-on activities.
