How much fun is it to have pets who adore you?? I've enjoyed having pets continuously for almost the entirety of my life. In the last 20 years, I've had dogs: my gorgeous white Shepherd, my ever staring at me, West Highland Terrier, my cats, Gerbils, Kangaroo Rats, Rabbits and my Parakeet, (who liked to shower with me) - My Cottontail who I saved from certain death, lives in the backyard. This was a sampling.... but I've loved them all. For me, it was important to have my dogs well trained and they were & are. They co-habitat (dogs, cats & bunnies all sleeping together) & enjoyed a great life. I've learned the art of giving pills when they can't be put in food. Recently I came up with making dozens of tiny, little raw ground beef balls which I freeze. They're ready each day to put that pill inside & they're gobbled up! My Westie likes to fetch his "Spidie" a large black spider. He's very low key though and just does a lot of smelling at the dog park. Timber Sue loved Frisbee, swimming, hiking & doing tricks.
