About Brooke

I'd describe my personality as energetic, empathetic, and caring. I like working with kids because they are the future and each one should feel loved and seen as people. I'm looking for a job that allows me to further my experience with children, as I pursue a degree in education. I hope to bring fun and safety into the families I work with! I started working with kids when I was in 6th grade as a volunteer in my church's children's ministry. I continued volunteering and then working as a babysitter and tutor. In my spare time, I like to read, paddle board, thrift, hangout with friends and family, and volunteer. One thing you should know about me is I am not a huge fan of electronics and I try to spend time engaging with the kids with games, crafts or conversation. I am not opposed to technology and will of course go with your family's normal routine but when it's not encouraged by the parents, I try to limit it. My skills include reliability, patience, and engagement.
