About Brooke

I am a mother of a 3-year-old. I grew up fostering children, giving me lots of experience with children 5 years and younger. I get along very well with older children, and I am great at entertaining without screens. I'm excited to be a help to your family! I'd describe my personality as silly, relaxed, and joyful. I like working with kids because they make life fun and meaningful. I'm looking for a job that is full time and consistent. I've really been taking care of young children since I was 10 years old, almost 14 years ago. Professionally I have been babysitting my now good friend's daughter for a year and a half, she is now 2 years old. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my girl! One thing you should know about me is I abide by gentle parenting techniques, I'm very good at calming toddlers down early before bedtime to keep them on track, and handeling tantrums and defiance. My skills include playtime, learning new skills, and nap time/bedtime.
