About Brooke

I like working with kids because it's fun. I love teaching them and watching their minds turn over new experiences. I enjoy their curiosity and creating positive spaces for that to flourish. There is so much to learn from children and there is so much joy in it. I'm looking for a job that is flexible yet consistent. In light of that juxtaposition, I looking to commit to something. I have a patchwork schedule with a part-time online job, part-time pre school aide position, and am looking for something to satisfy my excess time. I've been working with kids seriously since my senior year of highschool when I nannied for a family of 3 kids. Throughout college I returned to nanny during the summers. When I'm free, I like to go to Barton Springs or Deep Eddy and swim and read. I love to read and paint. I am outside whenever I get the chance. My skills include being an incredibly patient person (I think this is why I do so well with kids).
