About Brook

I am a college graduate who left the corporate world to raise my two daughters, now 20 and 23. I am looking to use my time to help others, whether it be with children or adults. I have a great deal of experience with both. I cared for my mother for over 9 years at home as she progressed with dementia. My mother eventually went into a memory care facility in her late stages and I was there daily to oversee her care. I am experienced with dementia patients and their varying levels and needs from the years spent at the memory care facility with my mother. I enjoy conversation and learning about the life experiences of others. It saddens me to see a lonely person in need of companionship. I enjoy putting a smile on someone's face, while helping them with life's daily routines. I find it to be very rewarding to provide someone with the care they require and deserve. I would love the opportunity to care for someone's loved one the way I've cared for my children and mother.
