As a nanny, I have absolutely loved being an extension of the family unit. I believe my job is to uphold each home while bolstering each child to gain confidence and independence in a nurturing and safe atmosphere. Transitioning from church secretary to nanny was easy for me, and as I married and had children of my own, I also began to homeschool them using Abeka Academy. I've used care. com for over nine years to connect with new families and, at one point, even looked into my own in-home daycare. The longest nanny position I had was 4 years. I have experience with every stage and age group, and along with the ability to juggle multiple households, I can also do cleaning/laundry and meal preparation. It would be my pleasure to do an in person interview come April or a phone interview in the meantime.
