About Brittney

Learning alongside students is my passion! For six years, I've helped elementary students thrive in Math and English and other subjects. I create an engaging, supportive, and patient learning environment, focusing on building confidence and fostering a love for learning. I actively listen and observe to adapt my teaching methods, using visual aids, hands-on activities, and discussions. I connect challenging topics to real-world examples, celebrate successes, and break down problems to build momentum. Open communication is essential for understanding student needs and setting clear expectations. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment and seeing their confidence grow is incredibly rewarding. I have some college education currently working on getting my bachelors in education ! I am comfortable tutoring at your home, online, or at the library. CPR and First Aid trained, I have a car and love pets, and I would love to help your student succeed!
