About Brittany

I was a nanny for 2 children ages 8 and 10 years when I was in college. I really enjoyed simply hanging out with them and helping them with their homework. I also enforced parental guidelines on TV time and outdoor play. I cared for them each day after school until their parents got home. Of course now I'm at the age where many of my friends have or have had small children at some point in the recent past so while I may only have one regular child care job under my belt I've definitely done my fair share of sitting- "It takes a village" as they say! I'm also a writer and I think reading is so important for young children so I used to be a reading volunteer at an elementary school prior to moving to Los Angeles last June. I did not graduate college but I did take several semesters at a technical college with plans to major in early childhood education.
