About Brittany

My name is Brittany and I am a 28-year-old female in the Durham-Chapel Hill area. I currently work in the pediatric intensive care unit at UNC! I absolutely love children, as evidenced by my passion in pediatric nursing. During high school and in my early years of college, I worked at a summer camp for children with special needs, including autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disability disorder, Downs Syndrome and Cerebral Palsy. Each child had his or her own specific needs, and being able to quickly adapt to each need was a requirement. I feel that this will serve me well in being able to adapt to the unique needs of your child. After COVID, kids need to be reminded of how to have fun. I hope to do that while ensuring a safe, caring environment.
