Hello, my name is Brittany and I'm 35 years old. I have been working as a nanny for 4 years. Prior to that I was a CNA for a decade. I love to play, color, read stories, etc. I am comfortable with as young as 3 months - up. But, majority of my experience is 5 months to 5 years old. I watched twin boys for 19 months (ages 12 months to 2. 5 years old.) So I do have experience with multiples. I know that choosing someone to watch your children is a very difficult and sometimes stressful situation. I aim to ease fears and have an open line of communication. If anything I over communicate rather than under communicate. I have excellent references available upon request. Qualifications: I have a portable background check through DCYF good until Mar 2030. Safe sleep cert through DCYF. CPR/AED/First Aid. Food handlers permit. If you feel I would be a good fit for you and your family please reach out to me! We've had the pleasure of working with Brittany for a full month now - she has been absolutely fantastic to work with and our son adores her! He even asks about her when she's not here. She is extremely reliable, a strong communicator and very caring and patient and takes great precautions in order to stay healthy. Our son warmed up to her quicker than previous nannies and I believe that's because of her calm presence, patience and ability to connect. She focuses on learning how best to communicate with him (he's only 2 and a half) and is really big on validating his feelings which we really value! We appreciate that she's comfortable setting her boundaries with our son so he knows she's in charge. She's great at asking our advice on how to better handle situations with him so she can be a better for him in order to handle tough situations (ie tantrums) independently allowing us to fully focus on work. We really appreciate the collaborative working relationship and the experience she brings to the table. I love that she is proactive and thoughtful with researching things to help with child development! It's been a huge relief having Brittany! Our son's speech has made a big improvement as well since she's joined us and we believe it's because of the dedicated time she's been putting in to read to him everyday - he LOVES books. She's also been so helpful at helping him starting to get in tune with his emotions and it's been incredible. On top of all that, she's so helpful and willing to help with household tasks and is great with our pets - they all adore her as well. Overall Brittany is an amazing person to work with - she has a huge heart and genuinely cares about children and their wellbeing. We really enjoy having her around and I love getting to take breaks from work to talk to her. We couldn't recommend her enough!
