About Brittany

I am seeking a flexible tutoring position over the summer. I have been an elementary school teacher the last 5 years, serving as a 2nd grade teacher for four years and one year as a special-education resource teacher for grades 2-3. I have my early-childhood education license with an endorsement in ESL and special education. Additionally, I have my masters degree in teacher leadership with an administrative focus. I have gained experience tutoring by working with a 3rd grade student since March. My experience as a special education and general education teacher has given me expertise in tailoring instruction towards students' deficit areas and building upon their strengths to support their learning.!
