My path to caregiving stems from positive experiences supporting adults and seniors, coupled with a genuine desire to improve their lives. Having been a patient, I deeply understand the needs of both individuals and their families. For four years, I've provided respite care, live-in support, transportation, and hospice services. I'm also experienced in errands, shopping, personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, dementia care, medical management, wound care, and mobility assistance. I have experience with hoyer lifts, picc/mid lines, ports, and home dialysis. I'm able to adapt to changing routines, de-escalate stressful situations, and manage confusion. I prioritize understanding each person's preferences and history. I'm patient, compassionate, professional, and detail-oriented. I communicate with families using their preferred method, offering regular updates. With some college education, I'm prepared to help your family. I have a car and enjoy working with pets.
