I have been a special education teacher for 10 years! However my passion and heart for this population started a long time ago as a teenager! I was actively involved in best buddies and have worked as personal care attendants for families who have children with Autism and Down Syndrome. I am patient, kind, have a good sense of humor and value inclusion and seeing people for more than their disability. My years of experience have made me very comfortable with all levels and needs. :)
