About Brittany

I'd describe myself as caring, dependable, respectful, and responsible. I've worked with children and youth since I was 17, beginning with church camps and later working with Kidventure summer camps and in a preschool for several years. My professional career has continued to focus on education and community service, and I currently work for a local nonprofit providing educational and prevention programs to children and teens throughout Southeast Texas. I'm TBRI trained and CPR/First Aid certified, with experience using trauma-informed approaches to create a safe, patient, and nurturing environment. I enjoy helping children learn, play, and feel comfortable being themselves. I'm looking for occasional babysitting opportunities to earn extra income while doing something I genuinely enjoy. I can assist with indoor/outdoor play, homework, educational activities, meal preparation, and routines. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, camping, reading, and visiting state parks.
