Since a very young age I've been interested in childcare. Whether helping my mom with my younger sister or being the first to volunteer to watch younger family members I took every chance I got. Throughout high school and the beginning of college I would babysit on a semi-regular basis. I have over 7 years of restaurant cooking experience so cooking and meal prep is no challenge to me. Adapting recipes and substituting ingredients to adhere to specialized diets is a specialty of mine. Being a type 1 Diabetic I have over 20 years of experience managing the disease from childhood through adulthood. Keeping an upbeat and positive attitude in my work is something I strive for everyday. I am extremely flexible as an individual and able to quickly adapt to changes. As much as I love being silly and having fun with children I also am able to be stern and serious when needed.

My son absolutely loves when he gets to spend time with Brittany! She has always been interactive and attentive in any games he wants to play, when he needs help focusing or solving a homework problem, and has truly been a huge support over the years for both of us. Imaginative and energetic, but also firm yet fair when and where it is needed. There are few people I trust with my child and she is absolutely at the top of my list.
