I'm an experienced adult & senior caregiver. I've cared for my elderly grandfather for years who is diabetic and can't walk by himself, requiring medication management, walking assistance, meal preparation, bathroom assistance, and companionship. Recently, I was a private caregiver for a women in her 30s with cerebral palsy through the WI IRIS Program. My responsibilities included: • Provided hands-on personal care and mobility support, including safe transfers and assistance with adaptive equipment, for a client with cerebral palsy, while maintaining client dignity, privacy, and comfort • Accompanied client to medical appointments and community outings, ensuring reliable transportation, safety, and consistent emotional support • Organized home and workspace and handled administrative tasks such as scheduling, paperwork, and daily coordination to maintain structure and reduce stress • Prepared meals, performed light housekeeping and laundry, and supported household routines
