As a compassionate and creative caregiver, I genuinely LOVE learning, playing, and exploring the world alongside children! I started babysitting for friends and family as a teen, began teaching part-time in my mid-20s, and eventually became a full-time nanny. I've also worked in healthcare and security, but ultimately returned to childcare. In total, I have about 5-7 years of professional childcare / teaching experience. One thing you should know about me is that I value honesty, scientific fact, and critical thinking very highly. Tawny has a wonderful way of interacting with children. She really listens to them when they talk to her, answers all of their questions, and explains everything they want to know. She almost speaks to them as if they were adults, which they absolutely LOVE. It's easy to find someone who can keep my kids alive while I'm not around, but Tawny really goes above and beyond, always thinking about their mental, social, and emotional development in addition to their physical needs. She's also really thoughtful and smart. She always has endless ideas for keeping the kids busy, and I can trust her to handle any problems that come up. My mind is always at ease when I'm away because I know she has everything under control.
