I have over 14 years of experience working with children. I spent eight summers leading youth camps and recreation programs and have also provided babysitting, house sitting, and pet sitting services for local families. Currently, I work as a substitute teacher in a Reggio Emilia and Montessori-inspired preschool. I enjoy fostering children's curiosity, creativity, independence, and confidence through a respectful, child-centered approach. I hold an Associate of Arts degree with an emphasis in anthropology and coursework in child development and psychology. I am CPR certified, have a Food Handler's Card, and have completed Oregon Early Learning requirements, including Safe Sleep training. Families describe me as patient, engaging, creative, and kind. I enjoy working with diverse, inclusive families and strive to create an environment where every child feels respected, valued, and free to be themselves. I have a clean driving record and value safety, reliability, and open communication.
