Brigitte is very communicative, punctual, and caring! She was available at the last minute for our needs and we will continue to use her as she is available. We felt our children were in very caring hands.

Brigitte worked a short-term, full-time gig with us to help me potty train my 2.5yo son in preparation for preschool. She quickly learned all about the method we use, and by day 3 or 4, she made significant progress with him! By the end of week 2, we had partnered to figure out how to motivate him, what his patterns are, and she got him to a place of more potty use than accidents. She was also great w my 4yo when he was home. We are so deeply grateful for her! I’d definitely hire her again.

This was my first time using care.com for a last minute, unexpected need for a one-time sitter due to daycare closure. I am so happy I hired Brigitte. She was professional and kind. Her calm demeanor made my 21 month old daughter feel at ease within minutes. She jumped right in and started playing with her, giving all of her focus and attention to my daughter. I felt comfortable leaving for work knowing she was in good hands, and came back at the end of the day to a happy child. Would definitely rehire her again in the future if a need for a sitter arises again!

Bridgette was friendly. The kids enjoyed her, she took the kids outside and watched a movie with them. 

Brigitte is absolutely fantastic!! She has been a lifesaver for our family. She is incredibly reliable, always shows up on time & my daughter absolutely loves her. She’s worked for our family on both a long term & short term basis once my daughter started preschool. She has cared for my daughter since she was about 6months old to now (nearly 3). She is so caring, kind, and always goes the extra mile to make sure my daughter is comfortable & content. She’s a great communicator & always keeps us updated how things are going. Overall, we are so lucky to have found Brigitte & highly recommended her!! 

Brigitte is extremely responsible, prompt, and communicative. She handled our two kids and their routines with ease — everything went smoothly and I had full confidence in her care. She picked them up, drove them to activities, and managed dinner and bedtime. Would hire her again and hope to use her for intermittent sitting! 

I hired Brigitte to care for my baby, but she did not seem to have infant care experience. She thought she could microwave my BM, she texted me constantly asking what to feed him when I was busy in class, she lacked the ability to problem solve. She showed up late, which, combined with her need for very specific directions on basic infant care, made me very late to class. Brigitte’s hourly rate is very high for her lack of skill, knowledge, and competence. 

We had the pleasure of working with Brigitte from August 2022 to August 2023. We found her to be professional, an effective communicator, and trustworthy. She cared for our three year old daughter during her first year of PreK, handling school pickup, homework, snacks, activities, dinner and sometimes bath. Brigitte is a very mature, reserved person. While reserved, she is not standoffish and had a warm relationship with our daughter, giving hugs and having their own inside jokes. She was particularly skilled in helping our daughter with her homework, never missing a lesson, working diligently with her on letters, her writing, and counting. She is also a strong driver, which can be a plus. When we shifted to the au pair model in 2023, Brigitte was supportive and understanding. She agreed to meet our new au pair and share tips and lessons she learned over the year with our daughter. As it relates to getting the most out of the working relationship, I would recommend clearly communicating expectations, working hours, and paid leave, as Brigitte does well with clear instruction. Overall, I would strongly recommend Brigitte as a nanny, for both short term and long term arrangements. 

Brigitte worked with my family for a short period while I had a 4-day training. She took great care of my 2yo son. She made sure he napped and played outside. Even if she was with us for a very short period of time, my son keeps mentioning her to this day.  I would definitely recommend and hire her again.

We recently worked with Brigitte for a short-term nanny care arrangement and she was absolutely wonderful to work with. Our son can be particularly difficult in regards to feeding and burping but Brigitte was so easy to work with on this front. She took all of our feedback and input without a trace of ego and implemented our recommendations from the start. She even came up with a great new strategy for burping him which really helped. She was great about tracking the babies' schedules each day and was super communicative via text if something came up with our son during the day. As a first-time mom anxious about returning to work, the way she genuinely loved on our little guy always eased my mind.

Brigitte is great! She took great care of our two-month-old son recently while we were just moving to the area and was patient with our chaotic moving day/s.  We hope to hire her again!

Brigitte was AMAZING caring four our 4-year-old son and multiple other children. She gets my absolute highest recommendation. Any family would be lucky to have her.

Brigitte was an outstanding nanny to our 2 kids over the first 6 months of COVID.  She was never late, always on time, and communicated extensively with on the rare request on scheduling changes or otherwise.  Our kids loved her, and she has a calm and quiet but firm style that the kids responded well to.  She help whether with learning, art, teaching, playing, outside play/exploration, all kinds of great things.  And she's already come back to visit the kids on her own time, which made them so happy.  We're so grateful for her help, and we highly recommend her!

Brigitte is wonderful! I interviewed her for a position that I was planning to fill. Due to the ongoing school closures in Maryland, I'm no longer filling the position, but I would not hesitate to recommend her for others who are seeking a sitter or nanny. I plan to hire Brigitte for future positions! She is kind, smart, and dedicated.

I'm very happy I found Brigitte and that she was available to babysit for my 5 month old for three days one week. I appreciated her calm and competent manner, even when my baby was fussy, as well as her reaching out to ask questions. I will definitely hire her again when I have a need.

Ms. Brigitte has babysit for my family twice.  She cared for my one year daughter first.  I was very apprehensive because this was my first time having someone watch my daughter besides a family member.  As soon as Ms. Brigitte came to the house my daughter was very comfortable, she even let Ms. Brigitte hold her.  Throughout the day, Ms. Brigitte sent pictures to ease my nerves. The second time, Ms. Brigitte watched all three of my children (5, 3, and 1).  As soon as my daughter saw Ms. Brigitte, she went right up to her (which I was very happy about).  My husband and I were sent pictures and text messages throughout the day.  My boys were very happy with Ms. Brigitte as were my husband and I.  Overall, my family loves her and will be hiring her again.
