About Brigid

Hi families! My name is Brigid, and I have 3 years of professional nannying experience alongside 8+ years of babysitting, caring for children ranging from infants to pre-teens. My passion in life has always been working with kids, and I am currently preparing to start nursing school next fall with a strong focus on pediatric care. Before nannying full-time, I volunteered with Reading Partners at local elementary schools, working one-on-one with children to build their reading and writing skills. Because I've always loved books and reading myself, I enjoy incorporating literacy skills into our everyday routine. I also love getting creative with arts and crafts and letting the little ones use their imagination in all sorts of play. I am happy to assist with household management tasks including cooking, cleaning, laundry, errands, etc. I maintain open, proactive communication with parents and am fully comfortable consistently enforcing your family's specific rules and routines.
