About Brigid

Hello, I'm Brigid. I am a compassionate, reliable, and attentive caregiver who enjoys helping seniors remain comfortable and supported in their own homes. My experience with senior care became very personal when I cared for my mother full-time during the final 6 months of her life after she had a stroke and was battling cancer. She was largely bed- and chair-bound, and I managed all aspects of her daily care. This experience taught me how important patience, dignity, and kindness are in caregiving. I am happy to help with companionship, light housekeeping, errands, meal preparation, transportation, and day-to-day support. I particularly enjoy conversation, listening to life stories, and helping seniors stay engaged and independent. Families should know that I am calm, dependable, and respectful, and I understand how much trust it takes to invite someone into your home.
