About Brienne

I'm passionate about empowering students to achieve their academic goals. For the past three years I have worked with young learners both in and outside of classroom settings. I have worked with high schoolers doing direct instruction and tutoring as a student-teacher, young learners with autism, as well as preschool and younger kiddos. I hold a college degree of Education and prioritize building confidence and a love for learning, not just memorization. I adapt my teaching by observing students and encouraging open communication about what works best. I keep students motivated by connecting topics to real-world examples, and making sure that they feel the content they are learning has purpose and is relevant. Communication is essential for understanding student needs and setting clear expectations. The most rewarding aspect is witnessing a student's "aha!" moment. I am comfortable tutoring at various locations and have a car for travel. I would love to help your student thrive!
