About Bridget

I'm a dedicated and nurturing caregiver with a strong background working with children in a variety of settings, including summer camps, outdoor education programs, medical settings, and nannying. I've completed coursework in Child Development at the University of Alabama including curriculum in child-centered educational philosophies such as Reggio-Emilia and Montessori. As a mom myself, I understand the importance of routine, patience, and flexibility in life's everyday moments. In childcare, I love getting kids outdoors and encouraging learning through play. I pride myself in my organizational skills and reliability, and am happy to assist in household management as well. I have experience with medically complex children; my most recent position outside of nannying was on the pediatric trauma floor of Vanderbilt Children's Hospital! Credentials: CPR/First Aid Certified, In-House Medical Assistant Certification through UPMC System
