My child care career began when my younger brother was born. I was about 7 and I loved helping my mom with anything she needed help with regarding my brother. When I was 12, I took a babysitting/CPR course at the Calabasas Tennis and Swim Club, and got certified. I started babysitting close family friends' kids who were around 5-8 years old for short periods of time. As I got older, about 14, I started branching out and babysitting children all over my hometown. I also worked at Leo Carrillo Junior Lifeguard program as an assistant lifeguard for 3 years over the summers. I have given swim lessons to children as young as 2 years old, to as old as 12 years old as well.
