Learning is a journey, and I'm here to guide you every step of the way! As a certified teacher, I'm passionate about helping elementary students excel in Math, English, Test Preparation, and Special Education. I hold a college degree and am familiar with Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and student accommodation plans (504). I believe every student possesses unique potential, so I create engaging, patient learning environments. I actively listen to students, vary my teaching strategies, and provide regular updates to parents. By connecting challenging topics to real-world examples and celebrating small successes, I keep students motivated. Communication is essential for understanding needs and setting clear expectations. The most rewarding aspect of tutoring is witnessing a student's "aha!" moment and seeing their confidence grow. I am available to tutor at the student's home, library, or school.
